Thanks to 1985 Games we had the pleasure of receiving some Milk Carton Dice, the TTRPG accessories featured in this review. These are dice contained in very well-finished packages with a decidedly captivating aesthetic. The latter are reminiscent of oriental-style milk cartons, each featuring a kitten and a fruit. Each feline also has its own lore and characterization, presented on an information sheet and on the official pages.
If after reading this review you want to buy them, keep in mind that they are still available on the Kickstarter page for $20 (about 19 euros) for a set.

Milk Carton Dice Packaging Aesthetics Review
The first thing that you can notice about this product is its meticulously crafted aesthetic. As always, 1985 Games is synonymous with quality and manages to combine beauty and durability to create accessories that are truly hard to say no to.
This is one of those rare cases where the packaging is so well-finished that it is as fascinating as the content. The box strongly resembles a milk carton. Its material is similar, ensuring considerable durability and a pleasant sensation of smoothness to the touch. The illustrations are in an oriental style, combining feline aesthetics with colours and details that recall a fruit. Obviously, each package is characterized by a different fruit and cat, so as to make them easily distinguishable and well-characterized. In particular, I received those that recall a strawberry, a blackberry and an orange.

The graphics of the package, in addition to extremely “kawaii” cats and fruits, also offer other interesting details. We find some writings in Japanese, which simply define the nature of the product. The contents of the package are also shown, giving a visual and descriptive preview. Last noteworthy detail: each box also features the feline’s paws on the bottom and the tail on the back, as if the cat was popping out of the container.
A detail that I particularly appreciated is the fact that the packages can be opened by removing an adhesive safety on the bottom; in this way the carton is not damaged in the slightest and remains perfectly resealable thanks to an interlocking system.
The Contents of Milk Cartons
Each pack of Milk Carton Dice, as you can see from the images included in this review, contains a pin, a sticker and (of course) the dice.

The first two have as their protagonist the kitten representing the package that contains them, but both propose an original graphic. The materials are excellent, the realization perfect. For versatility I particularly appreciated the pin, excellent to be used and moved at will.
The dice are made of plastic with bright colors, themed with the feline and the packaging. They are simple, but not at all banal. The color choices are visually pleasing and make reading easier. The dimensions are the standard ones of most dice used in roleplaying games. They are also very pleasant to the touch and, when rolled, they give the satisfying sound typical of these accessories. Each package contains the classic set of 7 dice: d4, d6, d8, d10 (units and tens), d12 and d20.
Milk Carton Dice Review Conclusions
To conclude this review, I can say that I am totally satisfied with the Milk Carton Dice.
Both aesthetically and in practice they prove to be an excellent product. Simplicity pays off here and the simple union of the concepts of “dice”, “cat” and “milk carton” creates an excellent accessory both for playing and for collecting.
I would therefore recommend these dice to anyone who appreciates kawaii roleplaying accessories. Furthermore, given the advantageous quality-price ratio, they can also prove to be an excellent gift idea.
